Endoscopy
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure that allows your physician to examine the digestive tract using a thin, flexible tube with a small camera. It is commonly used to help diagnose and treat conditions affecting the esophagus, stomach, intestines, and colon.
At Ironbound Endo-Surgical Center, endoscopy procedures are performed in a comfortable, outpatient setting with advanced technology and a highly trained care team. Most patients receive light sedation to ensure safety and comfort, and are able to return home the same day.
Endoscopy plays an important role in preventive care, including screening for cancer, evaluating symptoms such as abdominal pain or bleeding, and monitoring digestive health.

Colonoscopy
A colonoscopy is a safe and effective procedure that allows your physician to examine the inside of the colon (large intestine) using a thin, flexible camera. It is most commonly performed to screen for colorectal cancer, investigate symptoms such as abdominal pain, changes in bowel habits, or bleeding, and detect or remove polyps before they become serious.
At Ironbound Endo-Surgical Center, colonoscopies are performed in a comfortable outpatient setting with expert care and advanced technology. Patients typically receive sedation to ensure the procedure is as relaxing and pain-free as possible. Most individuals are able to return home the same day with minimal recovery time.
Colonoscopy is an important part of preventive healthcare and plays a key role in maintaining long-term digestive wellness.

Hemorrhoid Banding
Hemorrhoid banding is a simple, minimally invasive procedure used to treat internal hemorrhoids and relieve symptoms such as discomfort, itching, or rectal bleeding. During the procedure, a small rubber band is placed around the base of the hemorrhoid to reduce its blood supply, causing it to shrink and gradually fall off.
At Ironbound Endo-Surgical Center, hemorrhoid banding is performed quickly and comfortably using only topical anesthetic cream. No sedation is required, and most patients are able to return to normal activities shortly after the procedure.
Hemorrhoid banding is an effective outpatient treatment option that provides long-lasting relief with minimal downtime.
